BELLARIA IGEA MARINA
Bathing resort. Situated at the northernmost end of the Adriatic Riviera, this town offers visitors a beautiful, colourful beach, a public park, and elegant pedestrian precincts immersed in greenery. Its modern hotels, catering for all tastes, restaurants and nightspots are proof of its tradition as a holiday resort.
The town has some characteristic meeting places such as the Borgata Vecchia (old village), and it often stages interesting, traditional events that enhance the joyful, family atmosphere of any holiday.

The earliest documentary references to Bellaria's population and activities date back only to 1371, when the areas near Bordonchio, Donegallia and Castellabate were of greatest importance.
Located north of the River Uso, which crosses the present town of Bellaria Igea Marina. Major street furnishing projects have transformed it into an attractive tourist resort, dominated by Isola dei Platani, the central pedestrian precinct that offers strolls with lots to discover.
